New York Final Cut Editing Session.

Our task was to Edit multiple videos and to blend them together to create our own and very unique video. There are three ways to edit I used the following. once you create the video you need to choose your "In" and "Out" points in your video.
You have to drag the play head to locate the beginning of the part you want to use.
Then click the mark in button or the simply press "I" (I for "In")
Drag the play head to locate the end of the video and click either mark out or press "O" (O for "Out")
Then all you need to do is drag and drop the clip directly from the viewer to the timeline.
you can drag the clip to the lower third of the video track to perform an 'Overwrite Edit'
The Cursor will change to and arrow pointing downwards.
You can also use the selection tool for editing by trimming and extending from the tool palette.
